About

Hello!

Welcome to my illustrious home on the internet. If you have only some idea who I am, this page should help you out. I am a recent graduate of the University of Durham, with a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science. From October, I will be studying an Investigative Journalism MA at City University London.

Whilst at Durham, I undertook several extra curricular activities, including the role of Vice President of Van Mildert JCR. I am the proud recipient of the Outstanding Contribution to the Wider Community award, as well as being made an Honourary Life Member of Van Mildert College.

My real passion can be found in journalism – the reason this internet space exists. In the not so distant past, I was Station Manager of Purple Radio, Durham’s award winning student radio station. I was also Music Editor of Palatinate, Durham’s official student newspaper. I wrote for the paper and presented radio shows through my time at univeristy.

On the musical front, I was leader of The Gatefold in the North East of England. Playing my beautiful Music Man and Rickenbacker basses to the sound of keyboards and synths while cutting some fantastic moves on stage brought some fantastic memories over the years.

I’m also semi-skilled in photography and have a collection of almost 30,000 images from the past few years. I’m have been known as the ‘college photographer’ and have accumulated photos from my time at university, as well as occasional shoots and fun stuff. My online repository can be found at Smugmug.
